La pintura digital me ofrece una nueva veta expresiva para explorar. Para esta ilustración, parto de la base de las fotografías que le tomé a los siempre impresionantes garrobos guanacastecos y las intervine con pintura digital. Un detalle de su maravillosa piel parece un paisaje de otro planeta.
Digital painting offers me a new expressive vein to explore. For this illustration, I started with the base of the photographs I took of the always impressive "garrobos of Guanacaste" and intervened them with digital painting. A detail of their wonderful skin looks like a landscape from another planet.

Se graduó de Artes Plásticas en la Universidad de Costa Rica (UCR) en 1992.
Su temática preferida es la vida silvestre. Elabora sus trabajos de pintura a partir de fotografías y apuntes al natural que realiza en sus giras. Su enfoque es realista y trabaja en diferentes técnicas.

Her favorite theme is wildlife. She elaborates her painting works from photographs and natural notes that she makes on her tours. Her approach is realistic and she works in different techniques.
