Aunque los mapaches son principalmente nocturnos, este mapache descansaba sobre un tronco en el Parque Nacional Cahuita, indiferente a los visitantes.
Although raccoons are mostly nocturnal, this raccoon was resting on a tree in Cahuita National Park, indifferent to visitors.

Se graduó de Artes Plásticas en la Universidad de Costa Rica (UCR) en 1992.
Su temática preferida es la vida silvestre. Elabora sus trabajos de pintura a partir de fotografías y apuntes al natural que realiza en sus giras. Su enfoque es realista y trabaja en diferentes técnicas.

Her favorite theme is wildlife. She elaborates her painting works from photographs and natural notes that she makes on her tours. Her approach is realistic and she works in different techniques.
